About

I am Tim van der Zee, a PhD student at Leiden University. In this blog I share my thoughts about research methodology, study design, evidence, (statistical) inference, and in general how we can improve science.

In my research I focus on open online education, such as Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs). I strive to better understand how students learn in such environments, and how we can improve open online teaching.

I’m wrong most of the time. If you think I am wrong about something, please tell me why.
